Hello Residents of Jensen Lakes,
It’s looking like we will have beautiful weather this spring! Unfortunately, with these warm temperatures the ice has softened, and we will have to officially close our park rinks for the season. We will no longer be able to properly maintain the ice to ensure safety of skaters.
There is also an increased risk to be on the lake during this time of year. The shoreline can retract quickly causing the ice thickness to fluctuate rapidly, and vary from location to location. We are noticing weak spots on both rinks and strongly encourage residents to stay off of the ice surfaces.
At this time, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for our first successful winter on the lake! Our staff worked very hard to create three great ice surfaces, and we were thrilled to see all of you out there enjoying them!
