Reminders and Updates – October 2023
Good Evening, Jensen Residents,
Thank you all for a very successful Summer Season! We were pleased to see so many of you join us at the Fall Festival! Now that the fall season has commenced, we have some park updates and reminders for you all;
Change of Park Hours – October 4th
Starting from tomorrow, October 4th, our park hours will be adjusted for the Fall. The new park hours will be as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday to Sunday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Reminders
Membership Cards: A friendly reminder that membership cards are required for access to the park and its amenities. If you have lost or damaged your membership card, please note that there will be a $10 replacement fee. It’s essential to have your card on hand for your convenience and to ensure a smooth experience within our community.
Watercraft and Fishing: We would also like to remind residents that although our rentals are closed and the weather is cooler, residents can still bring their own watercraft to take advantage of the remaining warm days of the year. We would also encourage residents to come fishing now that there is less activity on the water!
Fall Decorations: We have our fall decorations up in the park, and they make for great fall family photos!
BBQ Briquettes: A reminder to please only use charcoal briquettes in our fire pits, firewood is not permitted.
Upcoming Activities
Pumpkin Carving Contest: Following the success of last year’s event, we’re thrilled to announce our second annual pumpkin carving contest! Keep an eye out for more details and instructions on how to participate. Get your creative juices flowing and prepare for some friendly competition!
Light-Up the Park Event: Save the date for November 5th, for our Light-Up the Park event! Join us to illuminate our beautiful park with our holiday lights and keep warm with hot chocolate. Stay tuned for more details!
Ice Fishing: We’re excited to announce that residents will be able to go ice fishing on our lake this winter! Guidelines for the upcoming ice fishing season will be released on November 1st.
