Good afternoon Jensen Residents, we have an exciting update to share with you all, please read carefully; Operating Hours The operating and opening hours will be adjusted, beginning Monday, January 15th, the park will be open during the following hours: · Monday – Thursday: 11 am – 9 pm · Friday – Sun: 11 am – 10 pm These hours will remain constant for the Winter season; however, they are subject to change, please keep an eye on the email reminders, the website, and Instagram for updates. Lake Ice Rink Opening The Jensen Lakes Lake Ice Rink will be ready to skate, starting on Monday, January 15th. For the use and enjoyment of all our residents and guests we would like to remind you of the following; · Access to the rink is via the resident access gate. · Membership cards are required. Park rules apply. · The Guest policy will remain the same and will not change during seasons. 6 guests per household. · The park hours will be adjusted to open from 11 am to 9 pm Monday-Thursday, and 11 am to 10 pm Friday-Sunday. · Detailed rink usage rules are posted in the park and on the website (linked here) for residents to review. · Staff will maintain the ice once per week and shovels will also be provided for residents to use. · Skate aids for kids and adults will be provided. · The rink is for all our residents and needs to be shared. Please be respectful to your fellow residents and ensure it is used fairly by skaters and any resident trying the ice for the first time! Land Ice Rink – Update The land rink is still in the beginning stages and is not strong enough for skating. The staff will continue to work on getting it ready. We will continue to update residents when there is more progress made. 2024 Ice Fishing Season Ice Fishing will be open to residents, on Monday, January 15th. The full rules and regulations can be found through the following link or on the JLHOA website: Ice Fishing Rules and Regulation 2024 These rules are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all our residents. Please read through the rules carefully before ice fishing at Jensen Lakes. Membership Cards Reminder As we gear up for the upcoming Skating Season, we would like to remind you that membership cards are mandatory for park entry. To ensure seamless access and enjoyment of the facilities, we encourage all residents to obtain their membership cards and ensure their 2024 fees are paid before the Ice-Skating Season. If you require membership cards, please email info@jensenlakeshoa.ca to coordinate card printing with our staff. Residents under 12 must remain supervised at all times by a member of their household. For the safety of members and staff, members under 12, who are unsupervised will not be allowed access. Reminder to always be patient with the staff while they do their best to deliver the rinks for the community, they will be navigating through unpredictable and cold weather.
