Our Annual Fishing Derby is Back!

Get ready for a day of fun and friendly competition at our annual Jensen Lakes Fishing Derby! Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out, this event is open to all skill levels.

Participating residents must take a photo with the fish that they’ve caught and upload a photo (link will be provided the morning of the event). First anglers to complete the challenge take the prize!

The Challenge:

In the event that no fish are caught, we will select participants at random to receive their prize.

Young Anglers (Age 8 to 17):

The challenge is to catch at least one of the three trout for the opportunity to WIN a $25 Cabela’s gift card. Don’t worry, we got enough for three lucky anglers!

**Please note: Anglers 11 and under must have a parent and/or guardian with them.

Adults (18+):

The challenge is to catch the prestigious Triple Crown Catch by landing a Rainbow, Tiger, and a Brook Trout to WIN a $150 Cabela’s gift card.

Date: Sunday, August 17th, 2025

Time: 8 AM to 1 PM

**Park will be open to only registrants at 7:30 AM

Ages 8 to 17: $7 plus GST

Adults: $12 plus GST

**Please note: JLHOA Fishing Rules & Regulations still apply. Live bait, lead weights, and treble hooks are prohibited.

Light refreshments will be provided for registered participants. These include coffee, juice, muffins and cookies. The JLHOA team can’t wait for a fun competition!
