multi-sport courts
Construction Update
Final court surfacing and line painting continue to be delayed due to recent weather conditions.
To ensure the courts meet the high quality, durable, long lasting standard required, the contractor needs very specific conditions, including an intensive surface cleaning and a minimum of 5 consecutive dry days before the final work can be completed. Because of the significant rainfall this season, the ground is still holding water from below the surface, which continues to impact the contractor’s ability to complete the final work.
An official announcement will be shared once the courts are fully completed and ready for use. Residents may begin submitting their waivers ahead of the official opening for a quicker sign out process!
Access to the Multi‑Sport Courts is through the Direct Park Access Walkway near the fishing pier. The courts are for the exclusive use of JLHOA members and their guests. A valid JLHOA membership card and signed waivers are required for entry without exception.
- A maximum of 4 users may be on a single court at any time. Residents may bring up to 3 guests; all additional guests must wait outside the fenced court area.
- All Multi‑Sport Court users must have a current‑year waiver on file prior to any court use.
- Parents or legal guardians must sign the waiver for all users under 18.
- The JLHOA member who signed the waiver is fully responsible for the conduct, behaviour, safety, and rule compliance of all guests they bring.
- Minors (ages 12–17) may not bring guests unless the parent or legal guardian who signed their waiver is physically present on the court or courtside.
