JLHOA Residents,
Due to dangerously cold water temperatures, lake access is currently PROHIBITED for public safety. Our lake’s temperature is currently 6°C, and it needs to reach at least 16°C to 18°C to be considered safe for recreational water activities (ie. swimming, boating, kayaking, etc.).
As temperatures rise and the weather starts feeling more like summer, please be aware that risks can still occur even in milder weather. Prolonged exposure can pose serious risks, resulting in cold injuries and illnesses like hypothermia and frostbite.
We will continue to monitor the water temperatures, so please stay tuned for any updates. In the meantime, fishing is OPEN for the season. Residents are more than welcome to head to the pier and start fishing!
Our team appreciates your understanding and cooperation.
