• Saturday August 10, 2024
• The Fishing Derby runs between 8:15 am and 1:00 pm (Participants are welcome to come and go)
• Park opens at 7:45 am for Registered Participants, please check in at the Maintenance Building upon arrival.
• Winners will be announced at 1:15 pm

About the Event:

• Welcome to the Jensen Lakes Fishing Derby! Get ready for a day of fun and friendly competition. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out, this event is open to all skill levels.
• For participants over 18, the challenge is to achieve the prestigious Triple Crown Catch by landing a Rainbow Trout, a Tiger Trout, and a Brook Trout. Completing this trio will allow you to be entered into a draw to win a coveted Gift Basket filled with fishing gear.
• For the younger anglers, the challenge is to catch at least one of the three specified trout. Completing this will allow you to be entered into a draw to win a Kids Gift Basket filled with fishing gear.
• All participants who meet their respective goals will have their names entered into a draw for the surprise Grand Prize, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day’s events and ensuring that the derby is a memorable experience for everyone involved.
• Light refreshments, including coffee, juice, cookies, and freezies, will be provided for registered participants.

Cost:

• Adults: $10
• Kids Under 18: $5
• Guests: $15
