The JLHOA Fishing Derby is back for a friendly re‑match! Cast your line, capture your catch, and send us a photo of the fish you’ve caught. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out, this event is open to all skill levels.

First anglers to complete the challenge will take the prize, but in the event that no fish are caught, participants will be selected at random 🎣

We encourage participating residents to bring their own watercrafts, as we are only able to offer a limited amount:

• 2 – Adult Kayaks, 195lb capacity
• 2 – Kids Kayaks, 130lb capacity
  *JLHOA Watercraft Rules & Regulations still apply. Watercrafts are first come, first serve.

Competition is limited to fishing pier and middle of the lake!
Fishing off the rockwall perimeter is strictly prohibited.

The Challenge

In the event that no fish are caught, we will select participants at random to receive their prize!

• Young Anglers (Ages 8 to 17): Catch at least one of the three trout for the opportunity to WIN a $25 Cabela’s gift card. Don’t worry, we got enough for three lucky anglers.
  *Please note: Anglers 11 and under must have a parent and/or guardian with them.
• Adult Anglers (Ages 18+): Catch the prestigious Triple Crown Catch by landing a Rainbow, Tiger, and a Brook Trout to WIN a $150 Cabela’s gift card.
